Refund & Cancellation Policy
How deposits, milestones, refunds and cancellations work for Technocrypt services.
Last updated Oct 19, 2026
1. How we charge
Projects are billed by milestone or monthly retainer, as set out in your statement of work (SOW). This policy applies unless your SOW says otherwise.
2. When you're eligible for a refund
- A deliverable does not materially meet the agreed specification and we cannot correct it within a reasonable time.
- We fail to deliver a paid milestone within the agreed timeline for reasons within our control.
- We cancel an engagement for reasons that are not your fault.
3. What isn't refundable
- Milestones you have accepted, and work already performed and delivered.
- Time spent on discovery, design or development before a cancellation, which is billed at the agreed rate.
- Third-party costs such as domains, licences, cloud hosting and paid APIs.
- Elapsed periods of monthly support or retainer plans.
4. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] within 10 days of the relevant delivery or invoice, with your invoice number and the reason. We will review it, may offer to fix the issue first, and reply within 10 business days. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 business days.
5. Cancellations
- Projects: either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice. You pay for work completed up to the cancellation date and receive everything produced to that point.
- Support and retainer plans: cancel any time with 30 days' notice, effective at the end of the current billing period.

| Singapore | Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 1993 | Consumers are protected from unfair practices and may seek redress through CASE or the Small Claims Tribunals. |
6. Payment disputes
Please contact us before raising a chargeback so we can resolve the issue quickly. This policy does not affect any rights you have under consumer protection law.
