Fix & Support
Bugs, outages and rescues — handled.
When something breaks, we find out why and fix it. Ongoing maintenance, performance tuning, upgrades and project rescues for apps and sites we didn't build too.
01
Reproduce, diagnose and fix — with a test so it stays fixed.
02
Take over stalled or troubled projects and get them shipping again.
03
Slow pages, slow queries and high cloud bills, investigated and fixed.
04
Framework, runtime, CMS and dependency upgrades without downtime.
05
Uptime checks, error tracking and response times that match your plan.
06
A set number of engineering hours each month for fixes and small features.
Websites and applications rarely fail at a convenient time. A checkout stops working, a server runs out of space, an update breaks a plugin, or the developer who built the system is no longer available. We step in, find the real cause and fix it, whether or not we built the system. Then we help make sure it doesn't happen again.
We work across a wide range of technologies, including WordPress, Laravel, Node.js, Python, React and the major cloud platforms, so you don't need a different specialist for every part of your stack.
We start with triage: understanding the impact, stabilising things if the system is down, and agreeing priorities. With the access we need, we diagnose using logs, monitoring and the code itself, rather than guessing. Fixes are tested before release, and everything we change is documented so your team understands it. Once the immediate problem is solved, we look at prevention: monitoring and alerts, backups, dependency updates and the weak spots that are likely to cause the next incident.
For project rescues, we begin with a short assessment of the code, infrastructure and outstanding work, then give you an honest recommendation: continue and finish, stabilise and refactor, or rebuild the parts that can't be saved.
Do you support systems you didn't build? Yes, that is much of our support work. We start with a quick review so we understand the system before making changes.
How quickly can you start? For urgent issues we aim to begin as soon as we have access. Response times on support plans are agreed in advance.
What access do you need? Only what the task requires, ideally through individual accounts we can hand back or revoke when the work is done.
What if we just need a one-off fix? That is fine. Many clients first come to us with a single urgent problem. We agree the scope and cost before starting, fix it, and leave you with notes on anything else we noticed that deserves attention.
Tell us what's wrong. We confirm scope and urgency quickly.
